Muslim Aid of Saskatchewan was incorporated as a Saskatchewan Non-profit on January 12, 2022 (Registration#102141895). We are a community-led and community-controlled non-profit organization. Volunteers are the heart and soul of our organization. All of our programs and activities are run by volunteers.
We distribute around 100 boxes of food for the homeless folks every Saturday from 11 am to 1 pm in the Regina Downtown area.
We support approximately 50 low-income students and families once a month through our Food Hamper Program.
Mental Health services rooted in Respect, Dignity and Confidentiality for those struggling with Mental Health Issues and Substance Use.
Our mission is to empower those who are in need with food distribution, food hamper support, community case management, mental health support and capacity-building.
We care for our volunteers. We offer free case management, active listening, and conflict resolution workshops for our volunteers.
We distribute winter kits to the homeless and the low-income families in Regina. Recently, we collaborated with Islamic Relief Canada, prepared and distributed 200 winter kits to the Carmichael Outreach.
