Welcome to Muslim Food Bank & Community Services Saskatchewan
Helping Today,
Helping Tommorow
Muslim Food Bank & Community Services (MFBCS) aims to offer support with food and capacity-building programs to those who are in need of assistance. Rooted in “Serving Community with Excellence”, MFBCS Saskatchewan began its journey in November 2021.
A group of community members, physicians, and academics from Regina played an instrumental role in the establishment of MFBCS. MFBCS was incorporated as a Saskatchewan Non-profit on January 12, 2022 (Registration#102141895).
We are a community-led and community-controlled non-profit organization. Volunteers are the heart and soul of our organization. All of our programs and activities are run by volunteers. Since its inception, MFBCS distributed hundreds of meals (pizza, pasta, burger and sandwiches) to homeless folks in Regina downtown. MFBCS distributes Food Hampers to students & community members in need once a month. MFBCS also collaborates with community-based organizations.
